It was a last-minute decision to come. I’ll write a blog about this later, but this coming Saturday marks the 50th anniversary of my first MLB game. I’m hoping to take in three games to commemorate it — tonight in Chicago, the place I’ve been to most as a visiting fan to see the Twins; a game later this month in Kansas City, since that’s where my first game was; and a game at Target next month to recognize the times going to home games. 

I tend to do a lot of self-reflective writing, so I’ll probably come up with something schmaltzy to consider the way that baseball has (generally) been life-giving for me. (See, the schmaltz has already started.)

The Twins Daily community will be spoken of positively.
