Yep. Watching the post game show Rocco said the contact play was on. Still thought Max should have put some pressure on the fielder to make a throw but past that he needs to get into a rundown so the runners advance and he did that successfully.

They're playing well and winning, but they aren't that fun of a team just yet. There's really no face of the team. The star players haven't consistently been on the field because of injury. Potential star players aren't on the field as much as they could be due to analytics. Subscribers to a major cable provider in the state can't even watch them. Streak is over too.

Hindsight is 20-20. Polanco’s single off his thumbs was a bloop. Haniger hit the ball hard, but on the ground, and could have just as easily been a 6-4-3 DP. Jax did a nice job limiting the damage after that. I hope SWR gets a chance to pitch the seventh soon and with a bigger cushion. 
 

I was screaming (in my head) to hit for Vázquez and Margot and they both came through. The bullpen use worked great and sample sizes are too small to declare Thielbar washed up. 
 

In summary, I think it’s really funny to roast the manager on a game they won. I guess they didn’t win properly.

Great win on a Castillo start when he was excellent.  Great start by SWR and key hits by Correa.

His last start against the Sox, SWR couldn't strike anyone out. Did he make adjustments - seemed like the 4-seam fastball up in the zone was working for him...

When Correa squares up, he has one of the prettiest swings in baseball. Those two hits off Castillo were text book.

Ok Mrs.B! You are the authority on all baseball subjects... I will defer to you and your expansive baseball knowledge from here on out. How dare anyone question Rocco and his decisions regarding pinch hitting, pulling starters and use of the BP....  But yeah... I will go crawl under my rock after the tough guy beat down on a baseball forum
