Tony Batista was the starting 3B for 50 something games on one of my favorite Twins teams of all time. He was not the reason the 2006 Twins did well.

Michael Restovich is a big what-if guy for me. Today's game, especially with the universal DH, seems like a great fit for him.

This guy, who would never make the roster in a OPS only lineup, was the hero of the best game I have ever seen.

1996 Twins legend Rich Robertson. 7-17, 5.12 ERA. Led the league in BB with 116 and had fewer K's than BB. And a WHIP of 1.68. A legend indeed.

Matt Shoemaker.  The guy was soo bad but he had to be kept because the 6-9 starters were all injured in AAA at the time.

or on the positive note JA Happ who also crashed after a few good weeks was traded for half the cost of Taylor our CF this year.

Twins legend Matt Belisle. 

He was also the pitcher when Mauer finished his career. And I think Belisle came out of the game just after Mauer and that was his end, too.
