Lol.  Everyone spent the whole lauding the decisions to throw the fly ball pitcher who can barely throw 90 against the one of the most prolific playoff studs in baseball history.

We are so overmatched it’s not even funny.

I see that. I thought he would do better than Joe Ryan but I guess I was wrong. He’s no different than Ryan.

Dang I've seen a couple of Verlander's curve balls get called for strikes and they were just off the zone, I've seen a couple of Ober's pitches hit the line of the strike box, but they weren't called for strikes.  Is that Jeffers?  Seems like he stabs at the ball and even though it's a strike the blue calls it a ball??

Jeffers is not good at framing. He cost a strike reaching all the way across his body

And now we'll use up 3 innings of Maeda, followed by the bullpen just to finish losing this one?

Losing.  3 runs is nothing in this postage stamp sized stadium.  It's also bland.  No personality.

God Ober has been a complete disappointment. Might as well have started Ryan. Pathetic pitching.

He’s been more accurate than Verlander. Twins aren’t capitalizing offensively and the Astros are

It's not over yet , Twins need to capitalize on the opportunities  , 2 double plays and a mistake on the bases ...

They need to right the shop and play smart ...

Let's g Twins  ...

It’s over when Ober’s giving up BP home runs and can barely hit 92 mph.

The pitch was that far off target. The alternative to reaching across his body was to let it go and hit the ump in the shin.

Ober is a hellava good pitcher. Even Sandy Koufax gave up a few home runs. The Twins need to score, that's all.

The overly negative need to dial it back, and those commenting on the overly negative need to stop. Please.

I mean Verlander is sitting at 94, that's not much different.  Just need to hit the right spots.

You're right. He made a couple bad pitches to 2 veteran Astros hitters who didn't miss.

Cool.

Literally the only good hitters they have are Altuve, Alavarez, and Tucker, and he’s not been careful with them. You can’t let those guys beat you.

3 Maeda, 2 Paddock or Pagan. No reason to burn anyone else.
