  1. Yeah. I don’t why they’re not trying him in bullpen since hasn’t been successful as starter and has good velocity and plus stuff. Festa and Zebby should be in the bullpen already.
  2. I think they’re completely different pitchers. Taj doesn’t have the extensive arms injuries and has much better stamina.
  3. Let’s hope. A lot of our good young pitchers look like bullpen arms with their vast injuries, high velocity and inability to get outs in the 2nd/3rd time around the order.
  4. “On a team headed nowhere in 2025, the value of a high-leverage reliever like Jax was diminished. Turning that into a controllable starting pitcher with upside fitted into the bigger picture.” Couldn’t agree with this statement and assessment more. I was livid at first because I thought they could’ve gone more value but Taj has been a revelation. I hope and pray he ends up like Ryan or better. If we can keep our pitching staff together, I think we should go all out for offense in the offseason ( I know, wishful thinking). Thank you for the article.
  5. Caminero is a beast. 45 home runs last year. Why can’t we have nice things/players like him 😢😢
  6. Good article and assessment of our precarious pitching situation. We have a lot of hope and copium as Twins fans but we’ve been burnt by potential and injuries before. I hope half of these guys can succeed to fulfill their immense potential and the other half become mainstays in the bullpen. I believe Prielipp, Raya, Matthews, and even Festa will become good long term bullpen gems. They have great stuff and velocity but can’t stay healthy and can’t get guys out the 2nd or 3rd time around in the lineup.
  7. He was really good in the last two months of the season. Hit for average and extra base hits. I think the power is there. I’m cautiously optimistic.
  8. It’s so disappointing and infuriating to see washed up has-beens and 30 year olds always being chased by the Twins. I don’t understand their obsession with washed players. They have Fitzgerald who’s going to be 31 probably starting this coming 😩😩😩
  9. I like your spirit and optimism but that’s highly unlikely. Most minor leaguers don’t make it. I will be happy if half of them make it to the majors and make an impact. I used to be excited about Miranda and many other Twins prospects but look where they are.
  10. He’s not good enough. How about they actually call up talented youngsters with some upside like Fedko, E-Rod, even McCusker would give a hint of excitement.
  11. It’s purposely done this way. I wonder what their end goal is? Are they worried about service time($$$) or are they trying to develop young players more? Idk what they’re doing. I’m Flabbergasted.
  12. I’m sure they’re worried about service time and a bunch of other bs malarkey.
  13. Yeah horrible selection of players. It’s like they don’t care about future projections and fan excitement/engagement.
  14. Kind of agree I’m tired of seeing 30 year old failures and has beens being trotted out by the Twins. I don’t like any minor leaguers over 26/27. If you can’t figure it out by then, you’ll never make it.
  15. Yeah true. Phillies refused to cough up Andrew Painter. I don’t care if he had TJ surgery. That should have been the ultimate red flag.
  16. True 💯. Twins are great at giving talents away. Selling teams have the leverage. You get the best deals or no deal. Twins had all those players under team control for multiple years. Cheap owners probably didn’t want to pay new arbitration salaries in the millions.
  17. Abel & Bradley 💩💩💩. Twins are great at giving talents away.
  18. Abel was bad. Well run organizations get blue chip talents back for their trades and we get Mick Abel. What an awful organization and owners.
  19. He could’ve took him out. He’s the manager. Isn’t it his main job?
  20. Whaaaaat? What happened? I left at 4-0. Why didn’t he take out Alcala? 🤬🤬🤬
  21. Woods Richardson’s has been good. Now he just needs to work on cutting back his home run per 9. Maybe use his off speed more and learn to get more movement on his fastball. His run support has been horrendous too.
