Go Twinssssss!! Man, that's been a few years, and even my last trip to Minneapolis was longer ago than that, so I can't help you with the dining choices. But knowing the Twin Cities, there will be MANY good places to choose from. Enjoy your trip!
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 There are lots of restaurants offering a wide variety of experiences. If you’re into a primal “hunting and gathering” dining experience, I recommend going to @wsnydeshouse and stealing things out of his fridge before he notices.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 If you want a Hollywood type experience, go to Manny’s Steakhouse and ask to sit at @Melissa Berman’s table.

You're assuming that there's something actually in my fridge!
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 The Jucy Lucy debate still persists. I suggest you decide for yourself at the two self-proclaimed inventors Matt’s Bar and the 5-8 Club. Also one of my favorites Pizzeria Lola.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Must eat places is completely hinged upon what you're into. Regardless of what that is, you're probably going to find something in town with a little online research for said cuisine. As for what's around and near Target Field, you've got several taprooms, bars and restaurants that are within easy walking distance. Target Field itself also has a very good assortment of food and beverage.

What if him and his son are in the mood for rally goat?

I do not recommend eating rally goat, far more effective alive…. then again, maybe it’s time to change my moniker given the current state of the team

Go Twinssssss!! Vanimal mentioned Manny's Steak House. If you're up for that kind of a meal, that's probably downtown's most iconic sit down place. Spoon and Stable is also well regarded, it's a bit swanky. The Red Cow is a bit more laid back and they have good burgers. If you're in the mood for sea food, I like the Smack Shack. If you're looking for something casual, Bricksworth Brewery just opened a location two blocks from the stadium. I haven't been to that spot yet, but their location in Burnsville had great wings, burgers and pizza.

Haha!! More of a Murray's kinda gal myself 😎 I really like Red Cow for brunch or a really good burger- casual place. If you go to a Saints game, highly recommend getting a Snuffy's Malt Shop malt from their cart at the game.
RpR Verified Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 IF, if you want the best burger, for tast and price, pay a visit to Matt's Bar & Grill, 3500 Cedar Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55407, they always brouhaha about the Jucy lucy but they have the BEST plain old fashioned hamburger , with genuine fried onions and pickles, for Four and a Quarter. NO credit cards!
weitz41 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 It's been a couple years since I made a game in Minneapolis. Pregame, pizza at Pizza Luce was really good my last time there. Cowboy Jack's Post game (depending on your sons age) but is a bit of a mad house if you go to the roof bar.
