The Twins need a new hitting coach. The quality of ABs are terrible on a consistent basis.

Messed up that opportunity royally.  Two most strikeout-prone hitters both struck out with the bases loaded, with Buxton looking at one near the middle of the plate.

Not disagreeing but it is deeper than a change in the hitting coach.

Their ninth inning at bats are like their 1st or 2nd inning at bats.  No sense of urgency, or intensity just to make contact.

You may well be right with that assessment.  But that also tells me there's likely a serious lack of preparation regarding the opposing team's pitching staff.
