IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Based on what I saw most of this series from the offense, I don't hold out much hope of winning anything against Tampa. Sad.

Irishman Verified Member Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Wallner reached base in his last eight plate appearances with the Twins before he was optioned back down on May 29, and since then, he has gone 9-for-21 (.429) with three homers, two doubles, eight RBIs and even a home run robbery on defense for the Saints. He should be playing for Twins instead of Garlick!

Thanks for showing up and trying to help your Team, Only player that did today , Him and Ryan, now Cleveland can sit back and Laugh , wont see the Twins till around Labor Day, this year gonna be the same as last year, Had a chance to send a Message, Frustrating !!!!!!!!! So just because they lose they didn’t show up to play? I don’t concur with that. Frustrating loss? Yes. Acting the like players don’t care or didn’t try? No.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Twins seem to play to the level of their competition. Cleveland is a so-so team. We played so-so baseball. We'll see how this team plays TB.

Let's hope that it at least was a learning experience. 6 pitches, none were strikes. Maybe Clase gets Garlick (more likely than not) but he didn't exactly look comfortable out there, and this is the same guy that leads MLB in blown saves.

Curious Rocco marches to the beat of a far different drum, at times. It will drive you crazy trying to follow his logic at times. You just have to hope that when the smoke clears at the end of the regular season, we're in the playoffs.

Yes. Acting the like players don’t care or didn’t try? No. "Didn't show up," doesn't necessarily mean they quit or weren't trying. McKenzie had 10 Ks in 5 innings his first start back after a shoulder issue. 16 total Ks, 1 run scored, and a god awful AB to end the game with a runner on 3B. Yeah Idk, I don't think they really showed up today either but YMMV.

This is easily the most positive thing I've seen posted in support of Rocco. Summary.....after the car crash they might be in 1st.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 I’m just happy Lewis got up and walked off. Hopefully no concussion.
CRF Verified Member Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Would love to see them send Garlick back to StP, and bring Wallner on the trip. Maybe somehow forget to bring Kep too. Wishful thinking, I guess.
