Why would Kepler get that close to the wall, based on the trajectory of the ball.  Kepler would have to be 17' tall and jump to catch that.  He completely misjudged it.  It was a line drive, not a fly ball.  Kap, Kep, Kep,  you wait til your father gets home.

I hate to say this because he’s one of my favorites and because of his defense but I’m starting to agree with others that maybe Kepler is done.  With Larnac and maybe even more Wallner in the wings.  But no St. Paul option undoubtedly for Kep.  I wish there was.

Right, he can’t be optioned, but it’s time to part ways and get both Wallner and Larnach up here. Gallo can take over in RF and Larnach in LF, Wallner mixing in, would be just fine with me.

Absolutely correct. 💯  And since his bat is somewhere between here and purgatory all he has left is his defense and that's not where it has been in the past.
