A good team sweeps the Dodgers. The Twins aren't there yet. Let's hope they can build off this series going forward. The bullpen has to become more than just Duran and to a lesser extent Lopez. On to Disneyland and Trout and Ohtani.

Wonder what this umpire's scorecard will be?  Pagan was bad, but he only threw 2 balls Heyward according to Gameday.  Cuzzi's total run impact was 1.81 runs for the Dodgers and Livensparger's was 1.75 for the Dodgers.

DeLeon pitching well. Then couple little singles.  Those happen. Pagan comes in and walks happen.? Then HR.  Good move huh?  Still could have won 2 of 3 except for fouls called fair and balls way out of zone called strikes in first game.

Seems to me as recently as this morning, several posters were praising the FO for having a deep and versatile group of position players. Most have also praised the pitching so far, although there have been complaints about the bullpen, specifically the non-high leverage guys. A lot of people are going to second-guess the manager whenever they lose, that comes with the territory.

What constitutes “going far in the post season”? Currently they’re first in the ALC, very good possibility of making the post season. Doesn’t making the post season and being on an 88 win pace make them at least decent?

We have seen this type of ball over and over under Rocco…. doesn’t it ever get you upset? Were you around under TK and Gardy?

Managers shouldn’t be believers in participation trophies…. they should be there to push players and chew their buts when needed.

 I don’t think Rocco is that type, and it shows…. no fire from this team and they just reflect his personality.  Ho hum….. 88 wins, in the absolutely worst division….

We don't know what goes on in the clubhouse. We don't know what Rocco says to his players in private. Today's athletes, by and large, are not going to tolerate someone raging at them. As someone who managed people in a career, rule #1 for me was to not be a phony. I think what he wants to project is team unity and winning is the only goal. We don't hear reports of clubhouse discord or problems. I sure the club and Rocco want to keep anything negative out of public sight.

We can continue to make excuses for losses.  OR... we can hope that the Twins actually fix some of their issues.  That is,  assuming you think they have any chance at all to make the playoffs...

i remember two World Series and 10 years of God-Awful baseball in the TK and Gardy years.
