These homerun swings by Twins hitters are really taking us out of innings.  I had a coach tell me that when you overswing, you pull your head off the ball, you change the trajectory or the plane the bats through, and also you're likely to close your eyes at times during a big swing.  The result; pop ups, weak ground balls and / or of course a missed swing.

Have tried to be a fan of Gordon but swinging at a 2-0 pitch a foot out of the zone and then a DP on a pitch right down the middle with no movement. Tough.

Just pisses me off. Quantrill can't or won't throw strikes, Miranda pops out on 2 pitches and Gordon manages to to turn what should have been 3-0 into a 2-1 gidp and then can't be bothered to run hard.

Qualtrill is one of the bottom 25% of starters the Twins will see this season, maybe lower than that, and we don't have a hit yet. Haven't even hit a ball hard yet.

What does it take to shake up this team... relieving Rocco? I don't know, the answer.. but this is like the 4th time in ten days they are being no hit after 5 innings. Something needs to change... maybe it starts with sending down players that are not producing. The observation/comments on relying on the homerun are on the mark. Maybe bring back Gardenhire.
