USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Just jog down the line on that strike 3 in the dirt, Gordon. You're a big leaguer. Hustling is so 1960s.

Another bases loaded, nobody out situation and zero runs come across. This is one of the worst offensive teams I've seen recent memory. It's an embarrassment and at this point the reasons to bother watching this team are few and far between. This point is exactly why I passed on watching both last night and today, even with the time and the means. It just isn't worth the aggravation.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Does Taylor stay in the game taking over for Gordon in CF?

But some people seem to be hate-watching this team and prefer it when they fail, I think.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 All they need to do is hold Cleveland in the bottom of the eighth and then score a couple runs off of Class A.

I doubt it’s true, I think people are just too invested in specific results, but it can feel like hate-watching.

Kummel Verified Member Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 HItting droughts are painful. But it's May 7th. And the rotation is keeping us in these games, the best Twins pitching in a long stretch.
Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Twins are going to win. I feel it deep down, burning in my soul!
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 yeah, I want them to fail. that's why I pay for watching games, re-align my daily schedule, and spend 2.5 hours away from other productive endeavors. Win or lose, they put no money in my pocket, as I don't bet on them. But, I do love baseball and my homestate. So the frustration threshold is probably out of whack, but it is, what it is.
