stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Buxton has been one of the few that haven't chased much lately.........until that at-bat.

bighat Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Larnach has struck out 6 times in a row? Didn't Buxton have 10 straight K's earlier this season? Isn't the goal of these ghost runners to make it easier for teams to score in extra innings simply by putting the ball in play? Just how inept is this team, offensively?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 What sort of hat does one get for striking out 6 times in a row?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Not to worry. Pagan's got this.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 You know it’s bad when you have two chances with the manfred rule and you don’t even ADVANCE THE RUNNER

bighat Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Ground ball to the right hand side and a sac fly, and you're ahead. Not one Twin even put the ball in play, three straight K's in the 11th. Just an embarrassment, this isn't baseball, this is pure garbage. Larnach needs to be sent down, bring up Kirilloff now. Anyone who can make contact, good lord.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 How many pitches does it take pagan to lose this?

wavedog Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Useless for us to start with a live runner on 2nd in extra innings - might as well put a statue out on the base.

Can’t remember the poster’s name but I’m sure he’s smiling somewhere now
