Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Buyer’s remorse on Pablo? We got a lemon! Or more accurately a limón!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Thankfully we took a couple pitches, worked some counts and gave our pitcher a little rest after that last inning
killebrewlover Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Time to get the broom ready. Pretty sad. 😒
Robert Floren Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Twins have been pretty hapless at the plate recently. I don't buy that every pitcher they face is an ace.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 ADJUSTMENTS, iT'S ALL ABOUT ADJUSTMENTS. Twins style does not include that, very often.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 I don't think the Twins are a real good or bad team, talent wise. We just keep getting schooled by other teams and their managers. Our baseball decision making is not sound or consistently, good.

When/if they get Moncada healthy, the lineup is at least as good as the Twins, probably better. The pitching and the defense have been beyond horrible...but the pitching really shouldn't be. Healthy, it's essentially the same team as 2021 when they won 93 games. Even last year when everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, they won 81 games. They should at least be in that neighborhood by the end of the year, I'd think...despite the terrible start.

UpstateNewYorker Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Gallo really slumping: 2-21 with nine Ks.
wavedog Verified Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Plenty of opportunity to bring Kirilloff up
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Rocco set the tone for this series, Tuesdays game trying to outsmart everyone with his moves way to early and we all seen the results, Mainly the Gordon and Gallo moves !!!

I was being half sarcastic.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Why would Solano be in today's lineup?

Their defense hasn't been awful...probably 'not very good' or 'not an overall asset' is a more fair way of putting it. Moncada helps there, as well.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Solano ? what was that nickname Again - Barrels

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 That's the 3rd time the Twins just missed a gidp with Solano at 1st recently. Probably not, but I wonder if 6'6" Gallo's stretch turns any into a Gidp.
