Buxton shows trademark speed on that routine hit to the outfield - slid into second but could have come in standing up.

Trying a new experiment tonight. Game is muted and I'm listening to Lohengrin. Dick and LaTroy are not singing. Lovely experience so far!

I'm just happy it was a nice clean routine slide.

Provus reports that Gallo's batting average went up more than 50 points while he was on the IL.

The Twins appealed an error on a ball he hit in the opening series in Kansas City, and it was changed to a hit. Going from four hits to five in 18 at bats lifted him from .222 to .278.

I am NOT  fan of Miranda but that fielding double play he made yesterday still impressed me greatly.

If one is hit by a pitch, they should make it so that automatically raises you BA by 5 points.

That DP doesn't happen if the Red Sox runner simply stops running.  His running down the line allowed Miranda to swipe tag him and throw to first without any extraordinary athletic ability for an infielder.

He was in postition to tag the runner and then the alertness to make the throw.

Not a simple play.

Was a force at home so the extra throw would complicate but should still be made.

I do not think they are miracle workers like you do, but I give credit where credit is due.
