I'm thinking this might be the year the Twins bat a DH 9th.

You could argue Solano should be there tonight (sub 700 career OPS against righties).

But if you have Kepler (or anyone) other than Castro...If you happen to be playing Jeffers behind the plate, and Buxton in CF (which I admit seems unlikely at this point)...then you are definitely slotting Solano in at 9 against righties. (Rocco already having demonstrated that he's not going to DH a catcher)

It's rare, but happens. Can't say I can remember the Twins doing it.

I was surprised to see him back out there last inning, but it turned out to be the right call.
