Luis gets his hit and comes out....the AL batting champ for 2022. A tiny silver lining to the lousy season. He finishes .316 and Judge can't catch him now even if he entered the game in the middle innings, which won't happen.Maybe they will give him a cameo pinch hitting chance.

Well, Carlos has stated pretty clearly, he will follow the money. If the Twins want him back, they will have to sign him to an extension. Do they want him back? I think they do. Lewis still has a ways to go to get healthy. Can the Twins continue to place their hopes and dreams on so many players that have missed so many games? They've already got Buxton and Kirilloff...and a stable full of pitchers in various stages of hurt.  So make him an offer. A decent one, not an overbloated one.

Gio is money at 3rd. He was a nice addition this season.

Gio is no Josh Donaldson…

and I think that’s a good thing.

Andrus might be a candidate as the bridge SS if Correa is playing elsewhere next year. He’s been pretty good for the Sox after a long slumber as a hitter.

When is the last time the Twins scored 10 runs?

August 30th against Boston.  The Nick Gordon grand slam, 6 RBI game.

I don’t think a long-shot chance to win a batting championship is worth giving Judge a chance to decompress after setting the AL record for home runs.

The stress he was under to break the HR record had to be enormous.  Getting hurt in a meaningless game?

If I was NY manager no way that's going to happen going into playoffs on my watch.

Varland in line to get his first ML Win unless our manager decides to pull him after 4 innings.

Considering we are already thru 5 1/2...maybe you should ?

Congratulations to AL batting champ Luis Arraez.  And with the balanced interleague schedule in 2023, he might be the last meaningful one.

Just saw a TV image of Correa, Ryan, and Arraez, and I realize, I’ll miss them in the offseason.  But it is time for a break from this season.

I do follow the playoffs somewhat but don’t have the TV packages to do it closely until the World Series.

Hamilton has not even had a slight chance to show if he can hit, but then ,his bat last year ate up the Twins for Chicago.

In 10 years B. Hamilton has 10 errors, any where; this year Gordon has 9.

Get real, outfielders rarely get charged with errors even when they make them, no one believes your spin

Why, it’s only 46 inter league games

Wow ... the Twins were one of six teams to have no pitchers qualify for ERA.

the times they are a-changin'

Meanwhile, Houston nearly had 5. But who wants to replicate them! Twins much better of being a leader of the new trend.??

My post-season activities include raking leaves and stockpiling firewood, gotta keep mrs game 791 happy.

Will not be watching playoffs, dont pay the freight for cable or streaming, cant say i miss the spectacle of tv production at all, the rare WS game i tune into reminds me of what I am not missing. Yahoo MLB Scoreboard is a pretty painless way to keep up to speed.

Now its waiting for end of WS and start of FA.....what will Twins do to figure a way to bring winning, competitive MLB back to Minnesota? Should be an exciting off-season. Looking forward to some spirited debate and analysis on TD...hope FO tunes into these threads, they might learn a few things?
