Love hearing Mr. Carew talking old school in the booth,   1967   me and  a friend , Walking- Hitch hiking on cedar ave by Nokomis, We always carried a sign Saying Twins Game, , and were always there 3-4 hours b4 game time for Batting Practice,- Ball Hawks 11-12 yrars old. Who stops and says hey Guys im heading same place,    Rod Carew himself, and instead of trying to Sneak in like we did alot, Mr, Carew told the Door Guard at the players ent, to let his 2 friends in to watch Batting Practice,   That and 1991  7th game with then my 11 year old son , 2 favorite Twins moments, Sorry im a big Carew Fan!!!

This is a phenomenon that goes back to that wild card game against the Yankees in '15.  Every time the Twins score they give up a run or runs in the next half inning.
