Funny how many meatballs, like the center center hanging meatball slider that Kirk just missed and struck out on wouldn't be a considered a "mistake" by Bundy..... but it sure was. It seems the Twins batters miss a lot of those "mistakes" that aren't credited. I recall the interview with Mariano Rivera after giving up a walk off GS to Jason Kubel. He was asked about the pitch to Kubel and Kubel’s hit and he said, basically, hits happen. He thought he made a good pitch, but guess not good enough. He wasn’t overly concerned. What he was disappointed about with his performance was that he gave up a couple of walks that inning. It wasn’t about the hits he relinquished. Those were the ‘mistakes,
AussieG Verified Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Maybe Gordon can leadoff tomorrow?
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Buxton!! Nice to see him start strong.

(Scoreboard watching: Devers is 0-1 in today's game so far. Ditto all four in the top four, as a matter of fact. Fun With Numbers!)

cHawk Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Since we used all of our high-leverge guys last night, it will be interesting to see what The Roc decides to do with the bullpen tonight.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Gotta get the player back at least no farther than the dirt edge, and not on the grass Them line drive outs to r..f. drive me crazy,

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 A 1-2-3 inning for our pitcher. What manner of sorcery is this?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 If Arraez was taller, he catches that foul pop. Like...maybe 30, 35 feet tall.

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Sandy Leon currently maintaining his .250 BA. If this persists, he's a bigger surprise than Gordon!
