Jeffers made a really good throw there. It seems like he’s making some effort to improve his throwing. I don’t know if his arm is average or less than that. He’s jumping out of the knee-down to give himself a better chance to throw someone out.

Gio starting to heat up is great to see. The glove has been there all along. If he's an average hitter, he's a pretty dang good 3rd base option.

Twins have got to stop DH'ing these swing-and-miss catchers with their .180 averages.

I understand you have to play one of 'em, but the fact that they are putting both Jeffers and Sanchez in the game on purpose is ridiculous.

Yeeps, Buxton being Buxton out there - that looked like it hurt. The landing especially.

Looked like Buxton let up a little bit (which is completely fine). Hopefully he is okay from that. Imagine he'll be a little sore, but hopefully he stays in the game following the half inning.

Interesting start from Ryan. Threw a ton of fastballs, over 3/4ths of the time. He's always a heavy fastball guy, but was even more so today. Only got one swing and miss on a non-fastball, and didn't strike hitters out the way he usually does, but was one baseball length away from throwing a scoreless outing.

A lot of outfield flies for both teams. Twins have gotten two over the fence while the Guardians only have one.

Per the poll, i am usually there for the ballgame and a cheapskate to boot, so unless there are special circumstances (like dollar dogs) i subsist on baseball.
