Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 A walk, a steal, and an RBI. Enough to make a grown man cry.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Justin Morneau had 5 career SB's.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2022 Author Posted May 15, 2022 Okay, Twins ... time to put up a GOOD number! Enough of this 1 and done piddling around!
shortround81 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Scott Stahoviak isn't in the lineup today. What's the deal???? The Twins OWE IT TO US to explain
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Lewis needs to stay up and just learn whatever position on the fly.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Jeffers made a really good throw there. It seems like he’s making some effort to improve his throwing. I don’t know if his arm is average or less than that. He’s jumping out of the knee-down to give himself a better chance to throw someone out.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Gio starting to heat up is great to see. The glove has been there all along. If he's an average hitter, he's a pretty dang good 3rd base option.

bighat Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Twins have got to stop DH'ing these swing-and-miss catchers with their .180 averages. I understand you have to play one of 'em, but the fact that they are putting both Jeffers and Sanchez in the game on purpose is ridiculous.
bighat Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Yeeps, Buxton being Buxton out there - that looked like it hurt. The landing especially.
CRF Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Looks like Buck could miss the next game or two after that one.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Looked like Buxton let up a little bit (which is completely fine). Hopefully he is okay from that. Imagine he'll be a little sore, but hopefully he stays in the game following the half inning.

Not a lot of good options right now.....but I tend to agree.

CRF Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Sure would be nice if we could get a guy or two on before the dingers. We definitely hit a lot of solo's.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Bullpen. Up. Now. Or are they up already?

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Interesting start from Ryan. Threw a ton of fastballs, over 3/4ths of the time. He's always a heavy fastball guy, but was even more so today. Only got one swing and miss on a non-fastball, and didn't strike hitters out the way he usually does, but was one baseball length away from throwing a scoreless outing.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 So, Ryan is the first Twins pitcher to go over 100 pitches this year?

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2022 Author Posted May 15, 2022 What’s going on with all the late time calls?

The announcers been going on about that being a kilo-homer for the Twins in Target Field (TF as some around here say) or kilo-home-homer?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 A lot of outfield flies for both teams. Twins have gotten two over the fence while the Guardians only have one.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Per the poll, i am usually there for the ballgame and a cheapskate to boot, so unless there are special circumstances (like dollar dogs) i subsist on baseball.
