Buffy the Twins Fan Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 MLB Pipeline's caption to Miranda's homer was "tick, tick...Boom!" lol I love it. I hope the Lin-Manuel Miranda puns never stop!!
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Josh Winder, lawn mower man; just mowing them down.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Winder has command of all his pitches and they all seem to be MLB quality.

It was my understanding there'd be no math, but since there is 2. Pretty sure that's not how that works.

Buffy the Twins Fan Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 you should get a quarter of a point for every home-run-caliber foul ball
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Another Buxton homer and another close game, which translates to a probable Twins loss. It just seems that every time he hits multiple homers or a monster shot in a game, it goes for naught in a Twin's loss.

I didn’t know that. Kind of doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t count as a HBP because you swung but it’s dead because it was a HBP
