David HK Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Oh, I see. It looks like Barlow and Staumont can trade shifts at the trailer. But they're both Jesse's, no Walt. Staumont appears to have sampled the wares, too...
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Perhaps Jeffers shouldn’t have swung at the very first pitch. This dude has no idea where the ball is going when it leaves his hand.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Roy: “the umpire almost had to call him out” what?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Whelp. You’ve got to win these series against bottom feeding teams… And the Royals know this.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Never should have lost that game against an inferior (?) team

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 What a disaster. Duffey is no longer a useable reliever with the lead, the lineup was better but couldn't hit when it mattered which is the story of the year so far. That's one of games you HAVE to win if you want to be a contender. Rocco + the front office can't sit on their hands forever with Duffey and to a lesser extent Thielbar like they did Colome last year and let them pitch themselves out of wins. Until tomorrow, Go twins
David HK Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Welp, finished my zoom classes, caught the end of the game, now time to make some lunch. This loss looks like it's on Rocco. Cheers, folks.
PopRiveter Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Well, it was fun hanging with y’all. Hope we’re still interested a month from now.
Irishman Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Twins lost again tonight. They are not very good team. They are dekcus! LOL!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 I will also add you can't get a catcher thrown out at home with 0 outs, not to mention the top of the order coming up.

That was truly aggregious. Good thing they are getting those mistakes out of the way early, before the games start to count. ??♂️

His only resort then is to go back to throwing outrageous curves all the time. His heater at 89 to 92 is a tater looking to get mashed. As for being "done," we can't know that yet. Pitchers spend their careers adapting, so maybe Duffy will develop a cut fastball or something that isn't quite so hittable. Look at Caleb Thielbar. He was "done" at least twice before. He made some changes, then came back. Duffy needs to make some changes, or...

howeda7 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Can't leave all those runs on the field. Duffy is cooked. Have now kicked away two games we should have won. Get Minaya up here. "IL" Duffy.
