That's not much of an endorsement, but fair enough.  And I'm sure he'll get plenty of opportunity here.  His history doesn't suggest that he'll be much behind the plate.

He probably won’t be heckled by his own fans as much here,I expect he’ll be better

Definitely agree on the heckling part.  Not so sure about the other part, but I hope you are correct because he'll probably see his fair share of time back there.

A run scored without benefit of a HR.  Checking the archives to see whether this has ever been done before....

Yeah, but the other one is a mess.

Yeah, I suffer from Sano syndrome.  I told Sano he should invest in Lasik.  He said he would have hi investment guy look into it.

Danny says the Mariners are a pretty good offensive club.

They're 22nd in runs scored this year, after being 22nd last year as well.

Sensing a trend here.

The backstop being so close here won’t hurt him either

Nope, neither will the stone surface.

Kepler, coming off a homer yesterday, stays in right field. I have the o/u for "groundballs into the shift" set at 1.5.

Congrats to everyone who had the over. It's a virtual lock now.

Seen  a few guys out at home trying to score on a past ball at Target Field, and some just stay at third

Pick to Click: Miguel Sano gets on the home run board with a 2 run shot in the 2nd innings

Still on track!

Danny’s wrong, pitching is their strength

He’s got a good arm

True but he has passed balls galore.

MLB should adopt the 'guest DH'.  Each game a team chooses a non-rostered player to be the DH.  It cold be entertaining.

Like billy Crystal for the Yankees, Biden for the Nationals, etc.

Yesterday the guy who couldn’t catch was Sano, had two chances to pick off a runner on good throws from Sanchez. I say we give him a chance.

If you could train an orangutan to throw strikes, I wonder what their velocity would be, considering their arm strength and length.

If only Arraez had the baserunning ability of Carew and Tovar, I had no love for him but he is doing very well this year.
