Not how you would really say this. I can't think of a good German word for that. Don't think there is a German expression.

Danny let us know the Seattle Mariners used to be the Seattle Pilots, until they were sold to Selig who turned them into the Milwaukee Brewers.  They then got an expansion team which became the Mariners.

 

Which of course means the Mariners were never the Pilots.

I put "Killer of Opportunity" into Google Translate, because that's probably what "Rally Killer" means in a literal context.

I've never studied German so I wouldn't know how to translate it.

Google Translator is not good at all at translating languages like Latin. I think the same is probably true with German

It's my native language but as I said, I can't think of a German expression that means the exact same thing.

It's the first game of the year, spring training was shortened, we have expanded rosters, Bundy has a history of falling apart on the third time through the lineup, we don't have a large lead. Need I go on?

I guess that's fair. I hope they score 3 or 4 more runs so they don't need to use their best relievers. They'll need them for the Dodgers series.

Couple quick hits:

1] LOVE Watkins and agree with putting pressure on the other team to make a perfect play. BUUUT...I think he's been too aggressive tonight.

2] BUNDY! That was a great 1st start!

3] More proof Arraez should be in the lineup just about every day.

4] This Buxton kid is pretty good at baseball.
