RpR Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 As much as I like J. Schoop, I hope he does not extend his hitting streak, but then with Alcala he might just get another home run.
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 We had to get Thielbar out of there, it was taking too long to lose the game.

LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Wow, left for a few innings. Robles…. Sucks. How about not going just by reputations and NOT putiing Robles and Colome in late innings situations? Maybe try other guys? Theilbar, Coloumbe? Anybody?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Okay Twins, if you pull this one out again, let’s go east on the Gatorade buckets and stuff again

LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Robles reminds me of Vinnie Johnson in rhe NBA, the microwave. You put him in and he shoots a couple of times. He makes them, he stays in. He misses, you pull him and glue him to the bench. He either has it or he doesn’t. None if the “ he’ll find it” crap. Robles, two hitters . If he doesn’t get them out, pull him immediately. He ain’t going to ger better.

If it's any consolation, I enjoyed your post a whole lot more than the work of the Twins' bullpen tonight. Also, by that measure you're seriously underpaid.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I’ve never seen an alleged major leaguer swing and miss in 3 pitch at bats more than sano.
Aerodeliria Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 There is a rule on the Twins. If Maeda pitches, the relievers are required to blow the save at least 50% of the time.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Okay, let's play this spring training style. Do what you have to do, to get this game over.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Sano K'd?? Huh. They say you'll see something at every baseball game that you've never seen before. Guess it's true.
RpR Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Arg, Grossman, he likes Twins pitching.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Kepler is 1 for 11 in these two games vs Detroit... but the one hit was the game winner last night.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Did we really just pitch to Cabrera with a base open? I know he’s washed but give me a break

insagt1 Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Do we have to put up with Sano for 2 more months? He strikes out in key spots with such regularity it just screams 'why', 'why'? Garver probably has a broken wrist. Just keeps getting better and better this year. Tigers take the lead. Twins pen is so incredibly awful. Robles is just as bad as Alcala. Twins missed their chance in the 10th. Sigh.

We need a moniker for our beloved BP Corps. Suggestions anyone? Ok, I'll start: NLSEBS: No Lead Shall Ever Be Safe, or nibbles phonetically. I know, its not quite syncing with the acronym, but close enough, like Dobby"s devastating slider that turned a 15 run laugher into a drama. Anybody got sonething better than The Nibbles Pen?
RpR Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Keep Alcala and use him only in the 10th to pick of runners.
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Can I sue the Twins if I've developed acid reflux while watching a Twins game?
