Yep, we need another 100 loss season losing Cruz and Donaldson will guarantee a new record loss season, and another losing season next year, and just maybe break .500 two years from now but I doubt it.

A quick return to the wonderful seventies with only die hards still watch or attending but then the Twins wre probably embarrassed by having the only winning post season record on history and just want to be like the rest of the Minnesota pro teams.?

I recall earlier in the year that fans wanted this team to "show fire" and "be passionate" and that would help the team... but like you, I don't really care for Donaldson's antics. It's nice to have a unique personality in the clubhouse, but when we're this bad and Donaldson is clowning around, it rubs me the wrong way.

I don’t think losing josh and 1.5 WAR is going to make much of a difference, I have to say

What he does isn’t “fire”, it’s just clownery. His stats aren’t good enough (and neither is his team’s) to taunt anyone

The difference between him or Arraez playing third is 3 or 4 opposing runs a game.

Donaldson is intense, that's for sure. He's one of those guys that irritates me half the time, makes me chuckle the other half.

But mostly I care whether he's a good baseball player or not, and he's been pretty good this season (though hardly irreplaceable on this trainwreck).

I like the team.  I believe they try and do the best they can, most of the time.  I don't believe they try to not perform.  They just want to play ball.  On the other hand, I despise the leadership and their rhetoric.
