If they go yard, is Kepler more likely to go meter?

In the midst of a typical 2021 Twins game - I was watching my Miss St Bulldogs win their first National baseball Championship and first national title in any sport - so even this Twins performance can

I can already foresee what's going to happen the next couple weeks - we see more "trade/fire everyone" articles the next couple days as the White Sox remind us that we're bad, but then we beat up on the Tigers and we see more "OMG guys, we're only 13 games out of first, we can do this!" posts.

I want to see the Twins win but not because they'll be a playoff contender this season. I just like watching good baseball over bad baseball.

The Brewers scored 15 unanswered runs today after the Cubs scored 7 in the top of the first, and now Atlanta has scored 20 unanswered runs against the Mets tonight.

So I’m thinking the Twins will win this game by a score of 26-8 or something

We are getting thoroughly embarrassed by a division rival.

So far this year vs CHW: 1-7 (counting today's game), run differential of -36 (66 - 30). Yeah, we've been getting embarrassed almost every game against them, not to mention the inane "unwritten rules" fiasco.

I said it before, and I was totally joking: Shoemaker should  be the closer.  Now, I'm beginning to think it's the only niche where he doesn't give up a ton of runs. He seems to survive one inning, no more.

Starter ERA vs Sox over 10.
