I like the team.  I believe they try and do the best they can, most of the time.  I don't believe they try to not perform.  They just want to play ball.  On the other hand, I despise the leadership and their rhetoric.

Didn't you post this like 2 hours ago? :)

Mercy killing. Letting him perform so badly he finally mercifully gets the ....... no, not shoe.... BOOT! See ya later Shoemaker.

He should have been gone before he was removed from.the rotation.

He never should have been signed. That was were the cruelty all started.

I know, but no is turning down a contract offer. He’s been left in there to be embarrassed a few times now, I don’t care one way or the other, but it’s odd Rocco would seemingly baby the whole roster but punish shoemaker again for being signed

Only 69 pitches. Send him out for the 7th!

And we have all of 3 hits. Not a lot of pride coming from the bats. They all have Sano-itus

You can say that again

The Pohlad's are quickly diminishing the Twins fan base (IMO).  Fans are no longer sour about this team.  I think they will despise this team and its decision makers.  This is beyond ridiculous.  No one should guide a team or a business like this.

Who, in their right mind, would procure season tickets for this team next year?  Who would not feel shortchanged by getting an inferior product at MLB prices?

No, but they brought in one of their other FA's that has really impressed

Yes but some want to trade the veterans that are getting hit and scoring runs and bring in  more newbies that like to watch strike three go by without swinging the bat.

Oddly the announcers are babbling about needing good starting pitching when it was the bullpen that threw away at least half of the losses this year.

Colome following Shoemaker. All we need is Happ to finish it off.

Tonight we'll be Happless.

perhaps Happ in the 7th and Maeda to close it out

Robles instead of Maeda. Give him some inherited runners to let in, though.

I thin the SP has really closed that gap.

Shoemaker current ERA 8.18

He started the game at 7.07.  At least one thing is looking up.....

Suns up 20 in the 4th on the road. Looks like this is it for the Clippers. Good thing they signed Leonard to watch from the luxury booth......

Rortvedt closes his eyes when a batter swings.  Who taught him to catch?

Who can blame him...I close my eyes when Shoemaker pitches too.

Same guy that taught him to hit, I think. He closes his eyes when he swings, too!
