I really don't understand the allure of days when one guy would beat another guy and we'd cheer when the beaten guy threw a small hard object at the winning guy to "get even".

True. I spent Wed night at a VFW double header. Gorgeous night. First row. Shade. And decent baseball for that age. They stole bases, bunted, squeezed,, and hustled.  I have become to believe the “T” in Twins stands for TiVo!
