Is this the real Rocco, or was it the one 2 years ago.  I'm through giving him the benefit of the doubt.  Yes he's had a lot of injuries to deal with, but his in game decisions and any outside influence on the roster and IR, show his shortcomings.

Might as well leave Rocco in place if this is going to be a tear down and rebuild. But he should never be allowed near a winning team again. Has not shown any great decision making

Hilarious, Maldonado pulled the Japanese little league bunt play. He stuck his bat out right in front of Jeffers' face, blocking his view of the pitch. Then he yanked it away after it was too late to catch it. Good way to kill the umpire.

I think there's one of the commandments about that - something like "thou shalt not drown baseball coaches in the baptistry." (That might be a loose paraphrase from Exodus.)

Its a long season and bad teams lose a lot of games like this one. Just one more total failure of the bullpen to make a decent showing with the game on the line. Never helps to get beat by an ex-teammate too

Right, and I have no problem with tanking, but I'm not convinced this doesn't happen if the Twins were at or above .500. Rocco has been making questionable decisions in the pen all year long, and it doesn't appear to be something that's going to change in future seasons.

Does anyone actually tank in MLB? You have to wait a year before you even draft someone, then another 4 (minimum) years before that person could contribute, if they even pan out at all.
