Last time I saw prices like that was 2009 in Minnesota. I bought a 150 CC Moped and rode that around town when I didn’t have to bring more than myself and whatever I could carry in a backpack.

They've looked worse than any team they've played this year. Including Detroit. Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Texas were easily much better teams than the Twins, using both the eye test and the series results. The offense cannot get hits with RISP, doesn't score many runs, and the bullpen is the worst in baseball by a long, long way. They could easily lose 105. Amazing to think a team with Buxton, Donaldson, Cruz, Kepler, Polanco and plenty of other able-bodied MLB players could look this terrible. Something's rotten at the core of this thing.

What’s it looking like elsewhere around the country? Will have to let you know about central MN prices tomorrow. Couple of friends and I are heading out to Costco tomorrow to fill up...

If this ends as a loss, the twins will be 12-21...the 103 loss 2016 team was 8-25 after 33 games

So no need to visit........ (The state data showed that the population of 39,648,994 in January 2020 had dropped to 39,466,917 in January 2021.)
insagt1 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Why its so hard to enjoy these games this season. Twins just CANNOT drive runners home. they CANNOT, they will not. Every inning...men on base. Every inning men left there. When you look at the box score (so far) Sox have 3 k's and collectively have stranded 4. Twins have 9 k's and collectively have stranded 20...just about every one has come up and stranded at least one they can't bring 'em home with less than two outs. they can't get the big hit with two outs. And of course the pen flushes the game quickly...because they have nobody who can stem the tide. Is it too early to admit this is a bad team...in need of something. Anything. Sheesh.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 I never understood why Thielbar was thought of as a lock in the pen this year.

cHawk Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 How on Earth could we possibly be this bad? What is holding them back? How is it supposed to be fixed?
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Guy can barely swing the bat, Thielbar could barely throw a strike to get him out.
