Our whole pitching staff today has been control pitchers with no control.

Yeah that will need to improve

Not a Stashak fan, but he might be able to be a 6th Inning guy that can consistently get outs for us. He needs to prove he can.

Stashak has been solid in the past. Definitely has the potential to be a 7th inning guy. Just hasn't found it this year, yet.

Twins arms have been playing with fire, but haven't gotten burned (yet)

I don’t reccommend playing with fire but you probably won’t get burned as long as you’re smart whilst doing it.

In 2019 Kirilloff played 49 games in the OF, 35 at first. He’ll play primarily in the OF, and some 1B, I imagine

He is showing to be a better 1st baseman than Sano..... and hitter..... but yes, probably. Maybe this is Sano's wake up call .... that he will hear.

I dunno guys... I see Stashak and Thielbar, I'm thinking they're getting by with smoke and mirrors. Stashak is trying to get by with a 90-91 mph heater, throwing mostly breaking stuff. Theibar throws a little harder, but it looks like hitters can see the fastball coming, and he's not commanding it. Neither guy is a low-velocity matador, so it seems a matter of time before they get destroyed.

Don’t think Kirilloff is a plus defender at first. Or anywhere. He’ll definitely end up at first base eventually in his career.

Well, Justin was talking about him being above average at first already earlier.... but then, what does he know about playing first.....

You know Justin Morneau came up as a catcher.  He developed into a pretty good first basemen.  He credits Tom Kelly as the man who taught him the proper footwork and positioning.

Maybe, but he hasn’t shown that yet.

What was your favorite Brandon Waddell moment as a Twin? Mine was when he struck out Nate Lowe.

He was drafted as a catcher, but only played C his first year in the minors as a 19 year old in rookie league ball.

By his 2nd minor league season, he was a full time first baseman.

Waddell, Stashak, Thielbar?  What happened to Duffy, Rogers, Robles,?  Yesterday was an off day, wasn't it?

I do miss a good radio drama. As i grew up, mpr had Star Wars, and Hitchhiker's guide on Saturday mornings at 8:30. And in the winter evenings, we could just barely get wbbm from chicago with old time radio at 8pm each evening.

Sigh, i suppose even then i was behind the times on my media consumption.

Logging on for a quick check before heading to bed, so apologies if these have been mentioned, but what about Lim and Amber, Fibber McGee and Molly, and The Life of Riley?

Seems like only yesterday.
