This never really felt like it was going to be a no-hitter, with the way Happ relies on groundballs and flyballs for outs. But a heck of a start! Now let's see if Duffey, and hopefully Rogers can close this one out.

Rogers and Duffey should be trustworthy bullpen arms, just not off to a good start

Polanco has made some nice plays at SS, he seems to be running on his ankle better. Now if only the pop in his bat could return.

 

And Astudillo is reminding everyone that most/many MLB hitters can play 1B without being a butcher.

Let's not pretend that Astuillo has any reason to be on this team.....

He's literally 50% of our run production today... and being down 4 guys on the COVID list is reason enough. He's a bench player at best. He'll go back to that once everyone is healthy.

Rogers is good for at least one extra base hit.  But I feel he'll get the save.  Meanwhile, Duffy sneaks in Rocco's office and takes a dump.
