If Coleme wouldnt puts around on the mound and take 50 seconds between pitch... He'd probably be pretty good.

I like Rogers in that spot. I feel good about him coming in.

Regarding “the closer”, I don’t think any candidate is right for the job, but probably sharing between Robles, Rogers and (gulp) Columé could work. Robles seems to fight his control occasionally, while Rogers has his documented problems on back-to-back days. Columé has been a disappointment so far but has a track record as an effective back-end guy.

 

Two other arms—Duffey and Alcala—haven’t been trusted with nailing down a win.
