Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 man, it was 6-0 in the 6th inning on sunday and it's been total garbage ever since.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Yikes. We are playing absolutely horrible right now. And then that. You're ****ting me
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Another fine job from the bullpen.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 I'm not sure what's worse to watch right now...the Twins pitchers try to hold a marginal lead, or the hitters attempting to hit.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Another fine job from the bullpen.well, yeah, but one of "big gun" starters wilted to start it off

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 how many more innings would we have to play for this junk offense to score at least 3 runs
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Twins could very well win the division this season. Then they could also get swept in the playoffs again. And no, there is no David Ortiz curse, there is the quality of pitching that most playoff teams have and the Twins do not have
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Another fine job from the bullpen. Stan Laurel agrees.
jun Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Duffey made sure all the inherited runners score.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 What has happened to Tyler Duffey?

And no, there is no David Ortiz curse, there is the quality of pitching that most playoff teams have and the Twins do not haveBold to assume we're going to waltz into the playoffs. At this point, it appears that 2019 was the outlier for a fair number of these players, rather than them progressing into the stars we hoped they would become. Of course, it's early and things likely will trend upwards.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 What has happened to Tyler Duffey?what's happened to almost everyone who won 101 games in 2019
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Reloads the bases for good luck????
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 If Duffey is not the Duffey we've seen in the past, which given the start of the season and spring, he isn't, the bullpen is in trouble. The reshaped bullpen has a lot lying on Duffey's shoulders, and if he doesn't have it, the bullpen is in trouble.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Fortunately, we got an offense that can answer this!
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Between the recent communication of the Twins front office and the product the team is currently putting out there it might be a struggle for them to fill those 10k seats per game.

This season might not be the season we all expect.
