Battle ur tail off Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This is such a terrible, BS take. If you read anything that any beat writer has written about Buxton, they always emphasize how much he wants to be out there no matter how injured he is. Sometimes players need to be protected from themselves, and in case you've been living under a rock for the past 20 years, we have since discovered that head injuries are nothing to mess around with and simply "play through." Sure. And he misses a zillion games a year. I will take back my pansy statement and call him made of glass. He gets hurt more than anyone in Twins history and it's not close. This time, maybe it's his head. Fine, I get it. Either way, he's on the bench more than on the field.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Twins have now set the record for most consecutive playoff losses in any of the major American sports.. Now that they have that record in hand, they can go out and win today. Just had to set the record first.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I imagine Kirilloff will be able to hold his own at the plate, but I'm more worried about him in the field and playing hops off the wall and the overhang.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Twins win today, period

FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Kind of disheartening with ESPN showing all those bad losing stats....
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I am ready for pain let’s do it
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 How about a nice can of corn pop up to Kirilloff in the top of the first, help him relax.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Wow that ball is carrying
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Ravech cannot pronounce Berrios. So damned rude. Come on.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Ravech calls him Berry Ohs. He knows nothing about the Twins. ESPN is just another NY local station
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Wow that ball is carryingI have a distinct feeling a couple of balls are going to end up in the seats. Hopefully it's our batters
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 nice play ball boy

Diesel Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Awesome start Berrios! Keep on doing that!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I appreciate the shortness of that half inning
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 nine eighteen more half innings like that, please.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Need Jose to do what Giolito did yesterday... and preferably need someone to do what Abreu did
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Need about 8 more of those types of innings.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 We need Cruz to put one in the seats today
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I appreciate the shortness of that half inning Didn't even have time to get anxious!
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 We need Cruz to put one in the seats today Preferably with a man or two on base.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Ravech calls him Berry Ohs. He knows nothing about the Twins. ESPN is just another NY local stationIt's probably because the New York Jets have a WR named "Braxton Berrios", but that's pronounced "Berry Ohs". Clearly they haven't watched any games where he pitched or they would have heard the correct pronunciation.
Jerr Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Wow that ball is carryingThe wind is blowing here.
