I think it was ok to send him because the defense is terrible but... ya know, hindsight and all.

Well the replay showed he may have been safe. It was a really good slide. Much closer then I first thought!

Normally I consider our 3B coach too conservative with his sends but that was way aggressive.  I was saying no, no, no stop.     Perhaps he is just not very good at knowing when to send runners.

Diaz ...... what was he thinking? I like making the sox make a play. And you have the speed. But he has to know Buxton is going to slide head first and reach with his left arm.... the rehabbing still a bit arm. I just think he has to hold him there. No reason to risk Buxton hurting himself on a slide like that, even if he would have scored. It wasn't even close. You have to be judged on the decisions you make and the results they give the team. That was a horrible decision.

Buxton should have stole second on the first pitch, and that would take care of all of it.

When is it going to get through Rocco's head that Kepler is not confident at the plate right now and shouldn't be batting leadoff?

well he can't change that in the 7th inning.

Donaldson showed no discipline...you just don't show up the ump like that and get away with it. so now a big bat is out of the game. Twins can't score runs without a HR...but I wonder why they didn't challenge the play at the plate. Buck may have been safe...but he probably shouldn't have gone. Kepler then with another weak AB. He joins Sano, Cruz and Rosario however...all having not good series. If Twins pen can somehow hold this lead (unlikely) it will be a very tough win.

WHy is Kepler hesitating on that throw??

We squander a dropped ball that rolls all the way to the wall, then refuse to take an easy DP on defense.
