I'll never understand how Rocco comes to some of the bullpen decisions he conjures up.  You don't pitch your closer in a tie game in the 8th inning.  As we've seen more this year than most, Rogers just doesn't have it when he's not in a save situation.

Why does Rocco refuse to understand that this version of Rogers isn't a high-leverage pitcher anymore??? At the moment I trust about every pitcher in our bullpen more than Rogers.

Watching Baldelli keep marching Rogers out in September 2020 as the ace closer is like watching Molitor keep sending Perkins out in September of 2015....... you know what is going to happen and just can't stop it. I didn't understand it then, and I don't now, and can't stop it. Perkins was hurt, and it didn't stop Molitor. Rogers? Why can't magic Wes fix him, eh?

It's probably time to switch their roles... well, maybe not save situations for Jorge, but Rogers needs to be in the back-end of the pen.
