Really wish the Twins had added to their pen at the deadline.

That's not the problem, just look at Alcala stranding these two runners with two strikeouts. The pen is fine.

 

The problem is that Rogers, as much as we all loved him last year, is not good this season but is still constantly used in very close games. Sometimes it somehow worked out, but still.

Agree to disagree. The Twins bullpen is shallow, and IMO pretty weak. Who do you trust over the final 3 innings with a 1 run lead in the post season?

Possibly the weakest attempt I've ever seen by a defender to plead for a ground rule double, and definitely the weakest overturn of a ruling on the field I've ever seen.

 

On a related note, I miss Gardenhire losing his crap a half-dozen times a season.
