More solace

For some reason, the "Solace" thread has been taken down but after the Braves gave up 10 runs at home to the Cards in the first inning and the Dodgers gave up the Salami to the Nats in the 10th inning, those 2 teams arguably feel worse than the Twins especially being the favorites. Plus, playing in the snow would be no fun. So congrats on a real nice season and looking forward to 2020.

What if the Yankees destroy their next opponent then breeze through the world series. Would we view what happened to our TWINKIES differently? Food for thought.

Considering that the Royals could've put up a better fight, I would definitely say no. It was one of the worst displays of the game of Baseball I have ever seen in my life, regular season or post-season. It was so bad that I did not even really consider it baseball. It was something other than baseball.

No, not really.  We were celebrating this offense all season and the best we could do was 7 runs in three games.  We didn't face Gibson, Koufax and Marichal.  Yankee pitching ranked 14th in ERA, actually below us.  Food for thought
