Hence Astudillo. Castro just doens't have it anymore. He's a sure out nowadays. Maybe Astudillo is too, but at least he has the ability to put the bat on the ball and maybe move a guy over.

I think the umpires can only challenge a call themselves after the 7th (if a team has already used a challenge). Managers don’t have unlimited challenges after the 7th

With the days off and every game pretty much being a night game, there's really no need for Garver to not start every game. Moot point as I see scenarios where both guys make the roster. I'm just saying Castro is not good. Not good at all.

It’s too bad that the tigers are an absolute embarrassment to baseball and never contribute anything. Taking 2 of 3 in a series shouldn’t cost the twins any ground but it looks like it wilk

Not our night. Cleveland creeps up a notch. Sox bullpen kept us off balance all night long.

Castro v Astudillo? Well, Castro stopped hitting in September. Really stopped hitting. Astudillo hasn't hit well this month either but he at least makes contact. Doubt Twins will leave Castro off...but he has become an automatic out in the lineup.
