Wow! This really is a magical day!

 

Just checked in, and saw the Tigers scored an actual run!!  :jump:

 

(Oops, so did the Sox...)

 

But magic number? It's a lucky one!

Steve Stone talked about this stuff in his opening monologue when the series began. The topic was how bad the Sox record was when they don't hit a HR, (something like 11-50), but he branched off into how many stupid mistakes they make on the basepaths and in the field.

Then, lo and behold, Moncada has that game where he gets thrown out, picked off, and loses the plot on Arraez' cue shot. This team, like a lot of bad teams, is its own worst enemy.

Odorizzi is looking really solid tonight. Seven strikeouts and keeping the Sox off balance. If Arraez makes that catch, which he should have, this is a 0-0 game.

Odo is pitching too well to have such an anemic offense. Let’s go Twins!

I know that it’s not really the case but doesn’t it seem like that happens a lot. One of our starters come through and the offense doesn’t.
