The whole game Gibson has looked like he was just barely holding on. Health-wise, he looks about 80 percent. But that's a lot better than his previous start, where his skin looked ashen. That was actually kind of scary. 

 

Today Gibson just looks bad. Frankly, that's a relief.

I like Modano, but a hockey executive in the booth for a regular inning, let alone a slllooowww Gibson inning, doesn't exactly shout "Playoffs Imminent!!!"

I wish Gibson would spoken up sooner about his problems. He would have had more time to recover and the Twins could have traded for a healthy starting pitcher.

To say Gibson has been “less than sharp” would be generous. 9 baserunners in 3 IP. The Twins are damn lucky the Nat’s don’t have 5-6 runs already.
