twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Buxton would've broken a rib, two fingers and contracted ebola.A rib and two fingers? ......now you’re just be being ridiculous!!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I've always liked Cave and definitely have never, ever said he should be DFA'd He plays the corners alot better than in Center field,
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Relax. KC's got this.Do not doubt the power of the Ashbury anti-anti-jinx.

glunn Community Moderator Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Only the Twins bullpen can have fans pleading for insurance runs up by 5 in the 8th .I have been pleading for insurance runs since the 1960s.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 After today Gardy will be one loss from 6 straight 90 loss seasons! This years Tigers on pace for over 110 loses!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Ramirez out for Cleveland, Buck coming back for the Twins. That is a monumental power shift in the Twins favour.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Doggone. Let's get these two outs!

RaymondLuxuryYacht Provisional Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I guess I don’t get Stashak in this situation over Thorpe. Isn’t Thorpe far more likely to be in the running for a postseason roster spot? Isn’t he the guy you want to see in a relatively close game?Shoulda put Thorpe in in the 7th. Would really have had people freaking out
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Save situation...Not for Thorpe. But, yeah...
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Not for Thorpe. But, yeah... My bad. I thought that the broadcasters said that the tying run was in the on-deck circle, but either they were wrong (is that possible?) or I mis-heard (likely).
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Way to go Twins!!!!!
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Thorpe should throw with his Aussie accent. That will completely throw off their timing.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Bremer is discussing that their lead increased on this homestand. True, but the bigger news is that there are fewer and fewer games for Cleveland to make up their deficit. Especially true of this weekend--both the Twins and Cleveland played bad teams at home, both won two of three and there are now three less games for the Tribe to make up games in the standings.

You know what's not fair, though? Kennedy gets the Win. The ultimate Vulture win.
