PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Absolutely have to pile on here. Two men on, no out. Let's do it. That'll do!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Boy did Cron Need that -atta boy
bighat Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 NEEDED THAT! Yeah Cron, hope that jump-starts his bat.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I'd like to have this game handed to Stashak and Lewis.......with a seven run lead (or more).
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Good eyes ARRAEZ!!!!!
bighat Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 How do they pick the kids who announce the players this inning? Always wondered that. Like, does a PA guy just stand around the concourse and pick kids at random? Do they sign up beforehand? Do the kids' parents work in ticket sales or something?
bighat Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Perez has to hold the line here. Putting up a zero is just huge. We can't get into another drag-em-out slug fest....well, we can, but I'd rather not.

Like, does a PA guy just stand around the concourse and pick kids at random? Do they sign up beforehand? Do the kids' parents work in ticket sales or something? My parents and nephews went to a game earlier this year. As they were standing in line waiting to get in at the gate, someone working for the Twins told them "you gotta get your first game certificate at Guest Services". As they were getting that, they were asked if they would like to be "Family of the Game". So, this is my long winded way of saying its probably random. At least if it works like the family of the game anyway.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 With a win today the Twins dreadful homestand ends 3-3, not really so dreadful after all, Cleveland not playing so great anyway
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Minnesota nice. Giving runs back.
bighat Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Let's not count this win just yet. Perez being himself out there, giving runs back immediately and Detroit in position to score more.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I think the scouting report is out on Twins hitters. They can't hit breaking balls. Any pitcher that has confidence in their curveball and is willing to throw a steady dose of them has a high chance of having success against our lineup.Splendid reverse jinx! All of Twins fandom thanks you!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Fifth not starting so well. C'mon Pérez!
bighat Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Get Thorpe ready. Hope Rocco learned from last night to pull these bad starters when things start going downhill.
Danchat Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 Acceptable work, Perez, now let's see if the bullpen can handle the rest. I assume we'll see May/Duffey and possibly some Thorpe too.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 12 more outs. Likely none by Dyson, Romo or Rogers. I wouldn’t put this in the win column yet, that’s for sure.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 6-3 Royals, still batting in the 8th, bases loaded two outs , pitching change
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 12 more outs. Likely none by Dyson, Romo or Rogers. I wouldn’t put this in the win column yet, that’s for sure.I'd like to see all three given the "break in case of emergency" treatment. Especially Romo and Rogers.
