Who? Ronny Rodriguez? He'd probably not make another roster in the majors.

He has some power. He was kinda tough against Twins pitching last year.

Berrios shouldn't have been in to give up the double that drove in the first run, much LESS the line drive out, the walk, then the grand slam, then another line drive hit.

He was struggling to put away hitters all night. Saved from an inning by an incredible play from Castro.

How does that happen? What was the idea there? You haven't played a game since Wed afternoon. You can't let Berrios, clearly struggling, piss away a 3 run lead.

I hope they come back and win, won't change a thing about Rocco's decision making. Terrible.

This offense better start scoring 8 runs per game, pronto.

I don't think the Twins currently can sustain their lead in the division unless something changes.

Openers are needed. Time to experiment with the philosophy.

They need to do something on the starting pitching side. It's becoming increasingly clear that what we're doing now clearly isn't working.

I don't claim to have any sense of what the answer(s) might be, but I think it's clearly time to try something different.

Who cares, they played great in April and May.

I remember Tom Kelly, when asked why he pulled a pitcher when he did, he responded with, "The pitcher was getting a lot of loud outs." And I seem to recall the pitcher had a shutout going at the time.

Dude has a .709 ops. and .590 ops or something like that last year. Scrub that again, wouldn't be on any other team in the league.

On a positive note, Duffey has been really good the past month or so.

Yeah, no longer holding my breath when Duffey and company enter the game.

In fact, I thought that if Berrios got to the fifth, it would be okay for the bullpen to take over.

Drew Verhagen and his 7.53 ERA putting up a quality start against the Twins tonight as Cleveland demolishes KC at home like they should.

About 5 games over .500 since June 1. Been mediocre for almost 3 months of a 5 month long season. In the weakest division in baseball.

Good thing the Twins kept all those prospects that are helping out the team instead of going out and getting Stroman, or Mike Minor, or Robbie Ray, or Syndagaard...

Well of course. Why wouldn't the Twins make a 6+ ERA pitcher look like a stud?

Watching this guy tonight I suspect he is wildly inconsistent. He got years and years of bad stats. He don't get that opportunity if he ain't got no arm. Twins caught ol' boy on the wrong night.

Guys, don't worry, the schedule really softens up here soon.

I’m starting to think people were looking at the Arizona fall league schedule when they said that

Careful—I have a good personal Jason Tyner story. :)

In truth, Tyner could at least catch the ball. No power, but, I think he had a good on base percentage.

I was thinking the same thing.  Btw the Rays won again tonight too.  How is it we managed to get the one guy of their system that doesn't know baseball?

I’d play, but I’m hit or miss with old films unfortunately :(

One word Casablanca

Bergman was fantastic, Bogart was Bogart so love him or hate him.

The other film was the Longest Day as my favorite non-western of John Wayne’s
