ashbury Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 All right, I'm signing off, and handing a nice lead over to you all. Protect it. Oh, and... KEPLER !!!!
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I believe Justin’s take is correct..... Kepler wouldn’t have faced Plutko last inning
wabene Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Let's take this one boys, send a message
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Per radio guys, it’s only Kepler’s second career homer to left.
wabene Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Per radio guys, it’s only Kepler’s second career homer to left.TV guy said the same, ole Dick
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 That first strike was horsehit. Made Sano have to swing at that last one.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Bottom of order due for Cleveland. Odorizzi one more with someone warming if they get a guy on?
David HK Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I believe Justin’s take is correctCorrect in its assumption. There's no way to say he would have hit a grand slam, and the possibility against a side-winding Loogy is far less. But the question is, which would you rather have, Kepler coming up with the bases loaded, or leading off an inning? I'd take option A.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Angels beat Red sox 12-4. That’s good news for the Twins wild card aspirations.... .... I’ll see myself out. .
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 One more baserunner and someone better be trotting in from the pen.
wabene Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I'm starting to not like Cleveland
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 So when is Puigs appealCleveland plays Boston, Yankees, Mets, Royals. It’s hard to see it waiting until the Royals series, so don’t be surprised if he drops the appeal on Monday and sits out against Boston with the way they are playing.

drock2190 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I like this call. Don't let Lindor see Odor for the 3rd time. I'm riding this decision no matter how it goes.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Starting to? Myself. I have so much White Sox Hate... I don't have a lot left over to throw Cleveland's way.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Wasn't expecting Romo this early but I like the move.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I think for next season Twins should try to sign Pineda and Odorizzi and let Perez and Gibson walk. Twins also need to get a few quality long relievers as well.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Odorizzi = Really good five inning pitcher ... Make it work, Rocco.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Good game Jake, greatly needed.
