Why, oh why, oh why do we send M-1 tanks like Cron in those situations?

 

We've got Max coming up, potentially with bases loaded and the pitcher on the ropes- probably a Loogy coming in, but Max has been tattooing lefties this year.

 

What in the living blankety blank?

I don’t know, you get Indians nemesis Kepler on deck and about a 90 percent chance that Puig throws Cron out there, but teams usually send runners with two outs. Should have held him up I think

With two outs, there's an argument for sending ... and then, the answer needs to be, No. Because, Cron.

 

How many times has Cron been thrown out at home this season? He must lead the team. He has deceptive speed - he's even slower than he looks.

The argument isn't sending a runner with 2 outs. The argument is sending Cron, with the ball in Puig's hand, with 2 outs.
