Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 You wouldn't trade the Yankee pen for the Twins pen??? I would trade the Twins pen for the Yankees pen. And I fully believe we need additions to the pen and am eager to see whatever is coming. But, we are losing our minds right now over the Twins pen tonight, while the Yankees pen is doing the same thing. It's Baseball. The Yankees offense gets some credit? Or is that not a consideration.
Danchat Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Bases loaded again... but with the way things have gone this year with the bases loaded, I can only expect defeat.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 This game is insane. Regardless of what happens here, insanity.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 How about a hero grand salami here, Maximum Kepler!
TribeAZ13 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I think you are trolling now.... Especially in a 2 homer game.hehe, i am a bit.. Miguel has tortured us in years past...if he ever puts it all together and stays healthy, man...

He's not even MLB average.Danchat had a pretty good rebuttal just above. We'll see. He could just be a guy, but at least he's a guy who's doing well lately, or catching fire/genie/a-pickle in a bottle.

Has the Yankees bullpen stunk for the majority of the year?
Blake Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Wow, I don't have to be able to read lips to get the gist of what the Yankee pitcher said.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 If Kepler gets a bases clearing walk off here I don't want anything less than a statue of him erected on Target Field Plaza by tomorrow

I said it earlier, the Yankee guys pounded everything in the strike zone when they needed to. Count didn't matter. Gotta give them some credit.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Wait, how can you make a pitching change if you have no mound visits left?
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Once again the Twins are face to face with their offensive achilles heel.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I’ll tell ya, ol blue has stunk for both sides late tonight
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 14th pitcher of the game. lol.

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Where to plot this game on the life of us all? I don't even know.

We need upgrades, but I don’t think people realize that every team has a bullpen made up of guys near identically frustrating as the guys in the Twins pen.
