It looks like the A's had their own embarrassing way to get a double play with a runner just at 3rd. Glad to see the Twins aren't the only ones making these types of gaffes!

Well...lead down to three. Offense is in a skin, and the pitching has been okay. Defense has been subpar, and the Indians are playing a bunch of AAAA teams. Perfect storm.  I still have faith in this team.

I feel like this is similar to that time when you know a relationship is ending, but it’s not quite over just yet. Like, we had all these dreams and we’re starting to realize maybe they won’t happen. Feels the same

I don't understand why there hasn't been any real effort to help this bullpen. It's so blindingly obvious, this bullpen just is not up to the task of winning a pennant. It never was, and almost certainly won't be.

It's going to be a race, I don't think either team is going to run away from the other. Far too early to count the Twins out. If anyone said at the beginning of the year the Twins would have a 3 game lead in late July, we all would have been estatic. 11 games up in early June was an aberration, if they can nab some pitching help, get Buck back and stay relatively healthy, it's going to be an awesome September.
